Since January 1, 2022, the first phase of Lusail’s tramway services has been open to the public.

In Lusail’s tramway network, which comprises 25 stations on four lines, the first phase of the Lusail tramway includes the commissioning of part of the Orange line, with six stations.

The stations of the Orange line of the Lusail tramway are :

  1. Legtaifiya
  2. Marina
  3. Marina Promenade
  4. Yacht Club
  5. Esplanade
  6. Lusail Central
  7. Energy City South

What are the streetcar timetables?

Lusail tramway operating hours are as follows:

  • Saturday to Wednesday :
    • First streetcar: 6:00 a.m.
    • Last streetcar: 11:10 p.m.
  • Thursday :
    • First streetcar: 6:00 a.m.
    • Last streetcar: 00:10
  • Friday :
    • First streetcar: 2:00 p.m.
    • Last streetcar: 00:10

These timetables are designed to meet passengers’ needs throughout the week, with extended services on Thursday and Friday.

The existing travel card is valid on both the Lusail tramway and the Doha metro, at no extra cost!

How much does the streetcar cost?

  • The cost of a trip on the Lusail tramway is 2 QAR (0.50 cents).
  • There’s also a day pass option for the Lusail tramway, which costs 6 QAR (1.50 euros). It is important to note that the Lusail tramway does not have a Goldclub class, which is one of the three classes of travel available on the Doha Metro, the others being Standard and Family.
  • What’s more, children under the age of 5 can board the Lusail tramway without needing a travel card.
