Desert Camp

This region of southern Qatar is one of the least-known yet most attractive in the world. The crystal-clear sea and ever-changing sand make this an unforgettable destination.
Magnificent to observe and fun to cross, the dunes reach dizzying heights of up to 40 metres.
Various species of fish, crustaceans and turtles are carried by the waves, while birdwatchers can observe cormorants, terns, gulls, ospreys, flamingos and migratory waterfowl. Oryx and gazelles move frequently.
In the morning, the beach is more like a lakeside resort, with the sea advancing into the desert, creating what we call the inland sea. In the evening, the sea retreats, leaving the beach deserted, while the dunes change color as if by magic under the light of the setting sun.
Take advantage of this exceptional location for a camel, quad or buggy ride. You can also go sandboarding or kitesurfing.
